From the sounds of things you might be missing Z even when you get back in. Been slow days. Cataclysm has not been kind to the World of Warcraft.

I'm biding my time for GW2, and a lot of other people feel like they're waiting for SWtOR.

Awww =( I'm sorry to hear. So are you guys not raiding or anything anymore? Or is anyone for that matter? From what I am hearing from my customers in the store, Cataclysm was a major upgrade to WOTLK. I stopped playing almost 2 years ago, so I have no idea of the changes. Thanks for replying Grodin =) I'm glad someone still remembers me =P

I check once or twice a day to see if there's been activity for Z, but alas, nothing seems to be happening. A couple of threads down Buzz announced he might be back with little fanfare, and it really just confirmed what seems to be happening.

Blizz lost ~1 million subs (net) since the release of Cataclysm. The raiding system is supposedly a very hard grind, and wore out a lot of people after the first tier. Some people seem to have moved on to raid with other guilds (Vanis, Sue, Shadowfell, Antee, and Pal all jumped over to the Horde side); while Brenden, Farson, and maybe a few others went to another guild briefly (it appears they're back in Z according to the armory).

It just doesn't sound like there's any active raiding. A lot of 25 guilds downsized to 10 man groups because they give the same ilvl loot now (why bother organizing 25 people if you just need 10 now?), the only people running 25s these days seem to be high level progression guilds.

I didn't even bother buying Cataclysm, I was really disenchanted with the Beta content (which amounted to if there's anything wrong tell us right now because we're releasing it anyway). They've already announced that the Deathwing raid is coming out (after less than a year of Cat) and that it'll be the final raid, and there's speculation of another expansion in the pipeline already (Mists of Pandaria got a copyright/trademark).

That's about all you've missed. At the end of Wrath ten of us got our only real Lich King kill (some others have gone back to see the fight I'm guessing by all the Kingslayers I see now ;p).

Like I said, I might play a month or two of SWtOR while I wait for GW2 to come out. I hope Z has a presence in those games. In GW2 you're allowed to belong to several guilds (you get to choose who you represent at any given time), so if anyone wants to start up an official Z Guild there I'll be popping in and out.

Holy cow! Well thanks for all the info dude. I am on a trial account now and they totally minimized all of the quests. Its a shame!!! I used to love doing quests and exploring the lore of the game. Makes me sad to see that its all a numbers game for Blizzard. =( Its also sad to see the family of Z not so big anymore. I never though I would see the day when I would /who Z Guild and see 2-3 people on in the prime time. Oh well. I suppose nothing really lasts forever. But if the guild does move on to SWTOR, I will definitely try to get a hand in on that. Lacking things to do as of late and I miss you rad guys! =) Much love to you all. i wish I would of stayed till the end. =/ I feel bad that I didn't get to say goodbye to a lot of people now =(

Z has indeed been dead for a bit now 1-2 people on most days. No raiding for us at all. I've managed to pug a few raids here and there, and it is, indeed, a grind and PITA. SWTOR looks AMAZING and I will be trying that out. If it hooks my interest, bye-bye WoW. Lots of people have lost interest in the game, myself included. I log on every now and then to escape the realities of Real Life(going to school full time AND working full time is killer, I need a break every now and then)

TOR is saying there'll be PUGable raids that won't need voice communication, and then two other tiers where coordination will be more important. I'm skeptical: that's a lot of balancing issues they'll have to sort out (especially when you look at how WoW's encounter designers have a hard enough time after the 7 years they've been actively making raids, and that's just 2 different difficulty levels, let alone 3). But the concept sounds Z Guild friendly, and it'll definitely be worth a shot.

I've already spammed the GW2 thread in the OT board. Lots of new mechanics/ideas coming out of Anet, and I'm really hoping they pan out. The game footage that has been released looks sensational, and they haven't even reached a closed beta yet.

Both games to look for a Z Guild, and I'd love to hear from Sprawl/Ayla if there's going to be any interest for either game. Otar recently voiced interest in both games as well.

I would love to keep playing with Z Guilders, and I'd like to see the discussion start sooner than later (as SWtOR is already in Beta, and GW2 is looking like there might be an announcement in the next month or so).

Yeah, because there is no Grodin signed up (edit: what the heck.. they changed my name to my account name... another strike for Bioware).

They've started handing out beta keys to Canadians apparently, so maybe I'll be in to beat Stew up.

Still way more excited about GW2.

Vanis has a guild going too for SW:ToR that I've joined as well as Shadowfell. I believe I'm the only one currently playing in the beta though.
