After a few weeks of struggle, we defeated the mighty Professor Putricide (10-man), completing our conquest of Icecrown's Plagueworks! Nice work everyone!

While Festergut fell fairly quickly, Rotface gave us days of trouble before we finally took him down. Onward to Professor Putricide!

The NDA just dropped earlier this morning for Cryptic Studios' newest MMO, Star Trek Online, which just entered Open Beta this morning as well. If you haven't already secured your beta key, stay tuned to fansites like this one for a possible chance to win. Fileplanet subscribers should also check the Beta Center for their own beta keys.

IGN Vault long-time running columnist and MMO correspondent Sprawl had a chance to get his hands on the new beta and posted his first-looks in between server crashes and disconnects.

It was a slow few weeks due to the holiday season, but that didn't stop us from coming back the day after New Year's day to stomp on our first Icecrown boss as a 25-man raid.

We've also updated a number of recent kill-shots to the Z Guild Photo Gallery, so be sure to check those out. Also, if you haven't uploaded your own "real life" picture, you should consider doing so as well!

This Sunday we managed to kill Deathbringer Saurfang in Icecrown Citadel 10-man. We've managed to clear the currently released 10-man content in just two weekends!

The picture is of High Overlord Saurfang carrying Deathbringer Saurfang off while the king, Jaina and some soldiers stand nearby. Sadly Sprawl was not available for the proper roleplaying the scene deserved.

The full Wrath of the Lich king has begun its descent and the Z Guild 10-man squad is up to the challenge. Lord Marrowgar, the first boss of Icecrown, fell to our might yesterday.

It was actually a relatively simple fight but fun nonetheless. We look forward to returning and facing this guy in his 25-man glory, soon.

It has been a while since we revisited this "old" content, but after a night of two split 10-man raids, one of the teams decided to take a random stab at Sarithiron with three drakes in hand!

Oh wait, I got that a bit wrong... Nice job guys on defeated 10-man Obsidian Sanctum with all Three Drakes up. Now to revisit Malygos for the speed achievement!

From everything to downing Heroic 25-man Hodir to Hard Mode 10-man Northrend Beast. We are pushing on towards Icecrown!

A very common hurdle for a lot of 25-man groups raiding Ulduar is the crazy cat lady named Auriaya. People were getting discouraged, and then...

...she fell to our might! Perhaps she wasn't as crazy as we thought.

What: Guild Meeting
When: Saturday September 12 at 5:00 PM (PST) Server Time
Where: Moonglade

It has been awhile since we have had a guild meeting and this will be a great time to see everyone face to face.

While the Guild meeting will be held over vent I encourage everyone to be there as you cannot win prizes if you are not there in person.

Summons will be available for those who have not gotten the flight path yet.

After the guild meeting we will be having a scavenger hunt. To be prepared for the hunt you will need to have a paper and pencil handy to write down the items needed. This event is open to all levels 20 and over.

On Saturday, we had enough people to take on Trial of the Grand Crusader, the 25-man version of the new encounter!

It wasn't too bad. We got it on our forth attempt and then proceeded to hurt ourselves on the second boss. Next time!

With all the new guildmates, we haven't really had the chance to do a whole lot of 10-man ToC progression. This Thursday, however, after struggling on the first encounter for a while, we dropped the Lord Jaraxxus for the first time ever on our second attempt!
